Well, they’re all men.

And?

They all want to be mayor.

Yes, and?

They have all been in multiple political parties.

Labour hopeful Forhad Hussain rejoined the Labour Party after a spell in George Galloways Respect Party.

Mehmood Mirza was in the Labour Party until they kicked him out, so he set up his own party.

Areeq Chowdhury was elected as a Labour councillor before deciding to jump ship and join the Greens.

And Clive Furness was a 21-year Labour councillor before opting to join Farage’s Reform Party.

We are not brave enough to predict the outcome, but the fight will be between these four. The Conservatives have announced their candidate, who so far as we know, has never been in the Labour Party. She is unlikely to come in better than 5th.
