Councillor Paul in Hot Water?

Muslim woman councillor quits Labour to escape “Oppression and discrimination” by colleagues. Right’s NEC candidate: “Excellent news”

It seems that cabinet member and Fiaz’s financial guru, Cllr Terry Paul has put his foot in it. According to the leftie-blog Skwawkbox, Cllr Paul expressed some satisfaction at the exit of a female Labour councillor in Islington. Unfortunately for Cllr Paul, this female councillor is Muslim who left because she felt ‘oppressed’ by the behaviour her fraternal colleagues in Islington, hence the allegations of Islamophobia. The minor storm probably won’t help his desire to rise to the heights of Labour’s NEC.
